Your details and rights
Last updated 2 November 2026
If we emailed you, this page tells you who we are, why we wrote, where your details came from, and how to make us stop.
Who we are
mintxbasil is Mariana Kobayashi and Mousa Abdelmaksoud. We help B2B tech companies find and run their growth playbook. We decide how your details are used, and you can reach us by replying to any email we sent you or writing to mariana@appmintxbasil.com.
Why we wrote to you
We write to people about their work, when something public suggests our help is relevant now: a role their company is hiring for, a funding round, or ads their company runs. Our legal basis is legitimate interest: a short, relevant business email to your work address, which you can stop with one word.
Where your details came from
- Public pages: your company's website, its job posts, press coverage, and public professional profiles.
- Your work email address, which we worked out from your company's address pattern and checked with an email verification service. We never buy lists.
What we keep
Your name, job title, company, work email, the public page that gave us the reason to write, and the emails between us. Nothing else.
Who helps us
- Supabase, our database, hosted in the EU.
- Instantly, which sends our emails.
- MillionVerifier, which checks that an email address exists.
- Exa, a search engine we use to find public pages.
Instantly, MillionVerifier and Exa may process data outside the UK and EU, under standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Up to 12 months after our last email, unless we're talking or working together. If you ask us to stop, we stop at once and add a one-way code of your email address to our do-not-contact list, so we never write again. Ask us to delete your details as well, and we will.
Your rights
You can ask us to stop, to see what we hold, to correct it, or to delete it. Reply "no" to any of our emails, or write to us, and we'll act within a few days and always within a month. Stopping marketing is your absolute right: we don't ask why.
If you're unhappy with how we handled your details, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority where you live.
